Thanks everyone for another successful party!!!!

Thank you to all our customers and friends who made our party Friday night such a huge success. We had a huge turnout so my apologies to anyone who had to wait a few minutes for a glass or was unable to muscle their way to the Tasting Room bar. (My suggestion of - be aggressive and just throw some elbows if necessary - seemed to work for most people). The morning after we did a bottle count and it was around 153 bottles. Yes, that is over 150 bottles consumed. Unfortunately I was to busy keeping up with the food to take real tasting notes, but some highlights for me were a beautiful white burgundy, a Saxum, a few other red burgundies that were floating around, a Malbec, Chalk Hill, and a Ken Wright.  Granted I missed many of the stars while serving food.  I will blog more details along with specifics about wines and pictures of the aftermath on Monday morning when I am back in the cellar. Please feel free to post pictures, comments, favorite wines, etc.. Also we would love feedback on how these events could be even better, so feel free to comment or post feedback on that too.

There were several excellent Bordeaux’sfrom the 90’s and 80’s, Cote Rotie’s, and some tasty stickies. A Cassis from savigny-les-beaune somehow made it back to my house for a follow up sampling.
