Quick Ridge Monte Bello Vertical 92, 94, 96, 05

92 good too. This could get better. Hold?

94 was the standout - drink it if ya got it. Great.

96 lame and overly stinky - hopefully bottle variation. Brett?

05 thin on palate (for being this young) but good. Where is the depth…

It was sort of a strange vertical, but informative nonetheless.  Sorry about the lame tasting notes. We were also tasting through countless ZIns at the time. That said, I am a big fan of Ridge … Zins, Petite sirah, blends you name it, but of course I really like Monte Bello Cab. It is defnitely unique, In fact I can usually pick it out in a blind tasting (try me?).I had heard that Paul Draper once said, "I make all those Zins and other wines so I can afford to make the Monte Bello Cabernet."

I am interested in a Monte Bello magnum vertical as I have been following and collecting these guys wines for awhile now.  Any takers?????
